Wilbur is a sympathetic pig who becomes enchanted by a bright and literate spider named Charlotte. This remarkable spider saves Wilbur's life with some fancy web work, but she can't save her own. Her legacy is her progeny, a few of who, season after season, remain on the farm with Wilbur.
