Fifteen-year-old Krystal Bentley discovers she can hear and see ghosts after she moves from New York City to live in her mother's hometown of Lincoln, Connecticut, when a boy who has been dead for a year begins to confide in her, but the weirdness continues when Krystal befriends a girl who can become invisible and a boy with telekinetic powers.
