Spring has sprung, fish are jumping, and Little Critter's off to the woods for his first campout with Dad.

Follows the adventures of a small boy and his dog as they spend a day trying to capture a playful frog at a nearby pond. Finally, the boy and the dog give up and return home. The frog becomes lonely and decides to follow the two back to the house, where all three are reunited in the bathtub.

No one understands or appreciates the little boy's make-believe adventures as hunter, knight, fireman, doctor, and caveman, so as a sea captain he just sails away.
