Liza is determined to expose her mom's boyfriend as bad for business--and the environment--and puts together a group of girls codenamed "GRRR!" which stands for Girls for Renewable Resources, Really! and is surprise by the success of their efforts.
Thirteen-year-old Liza begins to feel overwhelmed, and as she tries to find a useful outlet for her frustration as grief, she finds herself blocked at every turn by the school's new principal.
