As SkyClan struggles to survive after a flood destroys their home, Leafstar must decide what the next step for them should be. Meanwhile, Sol is demanding that he be made a warrior, but Leafstar doubts he will ever be able to embrace the warrior code.

Leafstar, having escaped from the Twoleg's home with the help of Billystorm and her Clanmates, finds more trouble when Sol joins the ranks of the SkyClan and his actions bring about a disaster, leaving Leafstar to decide if trusting a stranger in her ranks is worth risking the clan's future.
