Bob Reynolds, out of shape and on the verge of alcoholism, awakes to his true calling as the Sentry, a superhero who once worked alongside the Fantastic Four, Spider-man, and others, when the Void, the evil entity that forced the Sentry into retirement, makes a reappearance on Earth.
