King Dork approximately / Portman, Frank

Tom Henderson, still known as King Dork, tries to put some things of his recent life together, like who gave him the new scar on his forehead, who to blame for his father's death, and why he is suffering memory loss--along with all the other pressures and struggles of being an American high school student.

With stitches in his head and after effects from surgery, Tom Henderson finds some of his most deeply-held beliefs shattering but, somehow, "makes out" with at least two girls by the end of tenth grade.
