The allegedly lesbian players of her high school basketball team ask long-legged Abbey Brooks to try out, Abbey wouldn't mind trying out, but she promised her best friend she would avoid basketball and the "you-know-who" girls on the team.

Abbey Brooks's optimistic plans for her sophomore year include coming out to her mother, getting (and keeping) a girlfriend, and getting her driver's license, but her ambitions soon start to unravel as nothing goes according to plan.
