Dorothy and her friends follow the enchanted road to Oz and arrive in time for Ozma's birthday party.

The wicked Nome King, who plots to conquer Oz and enslave its people, prepares to invade the Emerald City just as Dorothy, Aunt Em, and Uncle Henry arrive there.

Young Dorothy is transported by a cyclone to the Land of Oz where she is befriended by a tin man, a cowardly lion, and a scarecrow, all of whom help her defeat a wicked witch and find the wizard who can get her home to Kansas.

Then, after escaping from servitude under the evil witch Mombi, a young boy named Tip sets out on an adventure across the land of Oz and is joined by his scarecrow-like creation, Jack Pumpkinhead, as well as several other well-known Oz characters.
