Eleven-year-old Rudi Kaplan is forced to survive in hiding when Nazi forces invade Poland and bomb his home city of Warsaw, and he trusts in his faith in God to help him survive the attack by Hitler, after his father is imprisoned, by hiding his Jewish identity.
