Middle-school entrepreneur and amateur chef Dex Rossi, who runs a gourmet lunch stand from his front lawn, finds out that his grandmother's restaurant is in financial ruin and he must find a way to save it. When his business takes off, he lands his own television show, and, just when he thinks everything is right, he must deal with a scheming, hard-boiled associate with a secret he has kept closely guarded.
