On New Years Eve, the sickness spread and over half of the world's population was gone. Magick rose where science and technolgy fell, but still no one is safe; so Lana and Max leave the city. More travelers are heading west, trying to find the purpose that will change their lives.

When an epidemic strikes across the globe, it spreads quickly, claiming one victim after another. Before long, society is barely functioning due to the illness and rapid loss of life. Soon magic rises up--some good and some evil. And a group of survivors forge forward in the hopes of living another day and finding a future free of the plague that has consume their present.
