Twelve-year-old Tom Elm, his raccoon friend Roderick, Percival, Abbey, and Barclay Bone, warrior-priest Randolf, and forest-woman Lorimar join in a quest to find the pieces of the Spark that can save Dreaming--and the Waking World--from a Darkness created by the Nacht.

After being run out of Boneville, the three Bone cousins are separated and lost in a vast uncharted desert. One by one, they find their way into a deep, forested valley filled with wonderful and terrifying creatures.

A graphic novel in which Fone Bone, Thorn, and Gran'ma Ben face hideous rat creatures led by Kingdok. Meanwhile, Phoney tells all of the town citizens that a huge dragon is their biggest threat and he's a powerful dragonslayer, hoping to win back their trust and scam them out of their savings once again.

The Bone cousins, Gran'ma Ben, and Thorn finally reach the city of Atheia, where they reunite with old friends and plan to thwart The Lord of the Locusts.

Using a comic book format, Gran'ma Ben, Lucius and Phoney Bone join the Veni-yan warriors to fight against the rat creature army near the Old Man's Cave before they take over the entire valley.

A volcano explodes releasing an ancient evil and the Bone cousins, Thorn, and Gran'ma Ben must decide whether they should proceed to Atheia as planned or stay and fight the evil entity.

A graphic novel in which Thorn is imprisoned in a dark dungeon and is guarded by the powerful Crown of Horns, but only Fone Bone can put an end to the war and save his friend.

When Fone and Smiley Bone attempt to return a lost rat cub to the mountains they encounter Rock Jaw, a fierce mountain lion, who dominates the region. Meanwhile, the fate of the rest of the valley is left undecided as the rat creatures continue to cause havoc.
