Mouse leaves the Christmas preparations in the burrow to find a present for Hare, but she soon comes across a sick swallow stuck in the snow. Rushing the bird back to the burrow, Hare, Mouse, and Squirrel nurse the bird back to health, and in the process learn the true spirit of the holiday.
