Heine continues to work toward preparing the princelings for their future on the throne. And Bruno struggles with his own conscience as he tries his best to live up to Heine's standards.

Heine tries to take a day off, but being the royal tutor has some serious disadvantages.

Heine struggles to keep the princes focused even when the fate of the kingdom is at stake.

Licht continues to juggle his royal studies with working at the cafe. But when the owner announces they'll be opening a new location, Licht could have some decisions to make about where he truly wants to focus his time and energy.

The four princes, Kai, Bruno, Leonhard, and Licht, are making great progress thanks to their royal tutor. But when the eldest brother and heir apparent returns, the princes must stand up to their greatest rival and prove they are the best candidate for the throne.

The eldest of the young princes' brothers, Eins, shows up unexpectedly at the palace, and Eins is certain that he is the most fit to lead the country, quick to point out the ways his brothers fall short of the burden of the throne. Heine is outraged, and decides to show Eins how his pupils have made progress.

Heine looks very young for his age, so his fitness for tutoring and training the young princes has been called into question--a line of questioning he thinks may have a darker role in the younger princes' aspirations to kingship. Someone seems to be trying to get rid of him.

Heine has become the princes' tutor and finally is beginning to appreciate their unique personalities, strengths, and even their extremely different tastes in entertainment--and yet, much remains a mystery. When something from Kai's past comes back to haunt him, and becomes the talk of the kingdom, Heine and Kai must must make peace with the prince's accuser.

While Leonhard is the only prince at the palace, his older brother Eins makes plans to take the throne. Heine, the royal tutor, wonders if the other princes are being kept away from the palace for this reason and vows to stop the plan.
