After college sophomore Laurel Estabrook is attacked while riding her bicycle in a rural area of Vermont, she retreats into her photography and begins working at a homeless shelter. At the shelter she meets mentally ill Bobbie Crocker and becomes obsessed with putting the pieces of his former life together in order to solve a dark family secret.
