The adventures of Daniel Boom, a.k.a. Loud Boy / Steinberg, David

After Daniel discovers that the evil Kid-Rid Industries is plotting to make children behave themselves by doctoring a special "improved" mac and cheese meal, Loud Boy and his friends put their superpowers--bad habits--to the test to stop the evil chef.

Loud Boy and other superheroes start acting older than their age, participating in activities such as shuffleboard and walking with canes, and try to find out why.

Loud Boy and the Freak Five have their work cut out for them when Kid-Rid plots to use Uncle Stanley's Flooggget--a machine that can fax actual objects to anywhere in the world--for evil, and the children of the world, including Daniel, have become addicted to a new video game, "Pig Planet.".
