Following her grandmother's death in an accident, ten-year-old Pia receives most of the blame and is shunned by everyone in her small community except for Stefan, the most unpopular kid at school. But when a girl named Katharina Linden vanishes, Pia and Stefan launch their own investigation that is inspired by the town's local legends.
