Crimson asks ex-rocker Aunt Roxie for help in finding a fourth member for her band, DarqStarz, but she, Scarlett, and Pepper are unsure whether Roxie's unlikely choice will be what they need to beat the Leetz and win the battle of the bands.
Scarlett and Crimson learn that a new kid, Pepper White, has snubbed the popular Leetz clique and that the recreation center is about to host a Battle of the Bands contest, which will give them the chance to showcase their new band.
