Half-vampire Blade, accustomed to taking out the undead one at a time, reluctantly joins with the black-ops task force known as the Avengers to battle an increasingly large force of vampire clans, united by a charismatic new leader, that is transforming more and more heroes into super-powered bloodsuckers.
