When Ethan Avery is invited to take part in a military experiment, he jumps at the chance to become a hero. But things go terribly wrong, and Ethan turns into Damage, the most powerful, destructive, and terrifying creature in the world, but he only does so for one hour at a time. Now, the military is hunting him, and he soon comes face-to-face with his heroes, the Justice League.

Ethan Avery goes on the run when his government-altered persona Damage reeks havoc across the country for one hour each day. While the government tries to track him down, he runs into supervillains Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing who want to exploit him for their own means.
