Frustrated by his inability to learn the truth about a beloved uncle's death years earlier, 15-year-old guitarist Rich sneaks into his dad's office and steals his most prized possession: an electric guitar signed by Jimi Hendrix. Suddenly, Rich is transported to the site of Woodstock in 1969--where he meets his 15-year-old dad.
