Ivy has loved living with her best friend and being part of Prairie s lively, supportive family. But now Ivy s mom has taken her back, and the two are barely co-existing. Ivy tries to find solace in art, but her mother s public tantrums force Ivy to retreat further into herself. Fortunately some of the people who care most are able to pull Ivy out of her funk, and through the power of friendship and art, she slowly grows to understand that she can shape her own future.
