Lhen Sue Ellen loses her diary at the library, Arthur and his friends wonder what is in it. When Arthur finds it, he must decide whether to return it unread or give in to his curiousity.

Unable to think of an idea for a science fair project, Arthur borrows a model his father made in third grade but feels bad about it even before he gets into trouble.
