Superpowered humans, known as NEXT, control crime in the city of Stern Bild while, at the same time, promoting their sponsors on the hit television show "Hero TV." Veteran hero Wild Tiger, whose ratings have begun to slip, is unwillingly paired with newcomer Barnaby Brooks Jr., and they will have to overcome their differences and learn to work together if they are to defeat the city's superpowered bad guys.
