On pointe

After years of ballet Jada feels she is ready to go "on pointe," but the whole process is a lot more complicated than she ever realized: from being measured and fitted for the shoes, to tying the laces correctly she still has a lot to learn, and that is before she actually tries to walk in pointe shoes, which seems to use muscles she was barely aware of--for the first time Jada finds that ballet hurts.
