When a shadowy magazine hires investigative journalist Hollis Henry to do a story on a new art form that exists only in virtual reality, Hollis finds herself involved with a government operative named Brown, a Cuban-Chinese criminal named Tito, and a mysterious cargo container with CIA connections. At the heart of the intrigue is Bobby Chombo, a specialist in Global Positioning software whom Hollis is told to find.

The evil designs of the Eight Fingers moves forward while Sebas' actions deviate further from his orders when he finds a distraught woman behind a brothel--his conflicting feelings of justice and duty are put to the test, and the disciplined butler will have to chose between loyalty to Ainz and helping a mere human.

When Kuroyukihime returns from her school trip, she finds that Nega Nebulus has had quite the harrowing adventure in her absence, having been taken very much to task by a new threat--Dusk Taker.
