A Japanese spiritual practitioner seeks relief from an all-consuming fear from three village women who tell him of a scheme that will trap a Buddhist monk in a dream in exchange for his healing. A spirit fox, who has a loving devotion to the unsuspecting Buddhist monk, intervenes in the scheme by consulting with the King of All Night's Dreaming to take the monk's place. The monk is distraught at the fox's condition and seeks the King of All Night's Dreaming who tells him what the fox has done. The monk takes the place of the fox and dies in the process. The fox then takes out his revenge on the Japanese spiritual practitioner.

Lord Morpheus must journey through hell to rescue his love who he had condemned there ten thousand years ago.

The Survey Corps' quest to test the Vertical Maneuvering Equipment is beset with problems. Then they encounter the Titan Ogre, who killed Kuklo's mother when he was born. Now his mission becomes to avenge her death, save the Survey Corps, and show Xavi that the Titans can be defeated.

The Survey Corps are in their final days of training before facing the Titans. And an act of sabotage during training makes everyone wonder who is trying to prevent the corps from stoping the Titans once and for all.

The future of humanity hinges on the Survey Corps ability to retrieve evidence of a dead Titan. The young crew of inexperienced recruits only has one shot, and conditions are not ideal for success.

Before the Survey Corps can help humanity expand beyond the Walls again, they must first conduct an expedition to prove that the new Vertical Maneuvering Equipment is capable of killing a Titan. Meanwhile, they continue training new fighters who are shocked at their first Titan sightings.

Witch-in-training Makoto shops for a new robe for herself and Chinatsu; combines her studies with witchcraft to make a treat; and visits the beach with Inukai where they meet a mysterious creature.

Makoto and her cousins visit a witch's magical cafe; Inukai tries to make amends; Nao tastes some spicy medicine; and Akane spots a rare animal.

Makoto goes to a cherry blossom festival and runs into her sister, Akane. Then Akane drops by and teaches Makoto new tricks for flying and some easy spells. The girls' cousin, Chinatsu, sees their talents and makes a special request of them.

The New Team Tournament has begun and if Seiryo wins, the team's dating ban will be lifted and Mitsuki and Towa could finally be a couple. But Towa has a dream that he misses a crucial shot and loses to Aya, putting additional stress on everyone and raising the stakes.
