Aya and Towa have both professed their love to Mitsuki, who in turn relies on her mentor, Nanase, to guide her through her romantic woes. But then some troubling news reached Mitsuki which makes her forget everything else.

Summer vacation has arrived and Mitsuki and her friends go to an amusement park. She finally finds the courage to ask Towa to ride the Ferris wheel with her but their plans are interrupted. Towa takes the lead and finally gets them on the ride together, but his confession of a secret past may change how Mitsuki feels about him.

The Inter-High prelims begin, and Towa and the Seiryo team are doing great. Mitsuki cheers for Towa, and even notices that Aya is doing well. But as the stakes rise, a key injury changes everything.

Then she reunites with her childhood friend Aya and is shocked to discover Aya is really a boy! Mitsuki has missed her old friend, but now she feels uncomfortable around him.

When Aya's leg is injured, Towa surprises everyone with his suggestion that they head to a hot springs for recovery. Aya is suspicious of Towa's motives but Mitsuki encourages him.
