Aya and Towa have both professed their love to Mitsuki, who in turn relies on her mentor, Nanase, to guide her through her romantic woes. But then some troubling news reached Mitsuki which makes her forget everything else.
Mitsuki learns how Towa really feels about her, but he is prohibited from dating as long as he's on the basketball team. Worse, Mitsuki is not the only one vying for his attention.
For Mitsuki, the stress of the festival is too much and she passes out from exhaustion, leaving Aya to take care of her. Then, Towa decides to finally tell Mitsuki how he feels.
Mitsuki agrees to join the school festival and learns the first event will be putting together a cafe. Towa agrees to help but he is distracted because his basketball team is facing a long-coming showdown with Hojo. Meanwhile, Mitsuki struggles with her feelings for Asakura.
Summer vacation has arrived and Mitsuki and her friends go to an amusement park. She finally finds the courage to ask Towa to ride the Ferris wheel with her but their plans are interrupted. Towa takes the lead and finally gets them on the ride together, but his confession of a secret past may change how Mitsuki feels about him.
The Inter-High prelims begin, and Towa and the Seiryo team are doing great. Mitsuki cheers for Towa, and even notices that Aya is doing well. But as the stakes rise, a key injury changes everything.
Mitsuki and Towa get closer, but Aya is vying for Mitsuki's attention. Meanwhile, Towa and his team must train for the Inter-High basketball prelims against Hojo High School's star, Aya.
High school student Mitsuki is still coming to terms with the attention she receives due to her friendship with the four stars of the school's basketball team. Then she reunites with her childhood friend Aya and is shocked to discover Aya is really a boy! Mitsuki has missed her old friend, but now she feels uncomfortable around him.
When Aya's leg is injured, Towa surprises everyone with his suggestion that they head to a hot springs for recovery. Aya is suspicious of Towa's motives but Mitsuki encourages him.
